I spent my summer in 2014 working at Lifeshel, LLC , a startup company founded by CMU alumnis Jayon Wang, Siri Ramos and Alan Fu. Lifeshel committed to prevent sexual assault using technology embedded on an iPhone case, called Whistl.
I designed, assembled, and tested the electronics circuit until it is mass-production ready, consisting Bluetooth Low Energy, Boost Converter, Loud Buzzer circuit, Capacitive Touch Sensor and Strobe Light. All packed using SMD components.
I also developed the embedded firmware on the ARM based processor with Bluetooth Low Energy chip Bluegiga on this project.
